Dead Median Fiction
Generative Dead Median is a generative film built on a decaying archive of cinematic history. Edited in real time by an algorithm, the video installation navigates through a vast set of moving images, fragments of films reconstructed by artificial intelligence, according to simple editing rules of formal and semantic proximity that continuously produce emergent narratives and associations.

Pushing to its logical extreme the narrative logics driving contemporary forms of attentional capture like short-form content, the work follows the experimental intuition that these same strategies can also be deployed to multiply interactions and reactivate petrified cultural forms by forming new connections - a possibilization of dead data.
